Vespel® SCP-5000 is a polyimide polymer (PI) offering exceptional thermal and chemical resistance. This material is ideal for applications requiring resistance to aggressive chemicals and long-term thermal stability. Thermal oxidation resistance is improved compared with VESPEL SP1. Used in aerospace, automotive, chemical processing and other industries. For example: valve seats, seals, insulators.
