VOLTALEF® 402
VOLTALEF® 402: PCTFE fluoropolymer for extreme environments
A reference PCTFE for critical applications
VOLTALEF® 402 is a polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE) grade developed by Arkema and processed by DEMGY. It combines outstanding chemical resistance, thermal stability and barrier properties for use in the most demanding industrial environments.
Cryogenic performance and dimensional stability
The material retains mechanical integrity down to -196 °C and features a very low coefficient of thermal expansion, ensuring reliable sealing performance through extreme thermal cycles.
Chemical resistance and barrier performance
VOLTALEF® 402 provides excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals and offers very low gas and moisture permeability, making it ideal for sealing and containment of sensitive media.
