ULTEM® 2300
ULTEM™ 2300: glass‑fiber‑reinforced PEI for structural applications
A reinforced PEI for demanding environments
ULTEM™ 2300 is a SABIC™ polyetherimide grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. This reinforcement provides increased stiffness, enhanced mechanical strength and excellent dimensional stability while maintaining the inherent thermal resistance of PEI.
Thermal and mechanical performance
The material supports continuous service temperatures around 170 °C and offers good creep resistance for long‑term structural reliability.
Electrical insulation and fire behavior
ULTEM™ 2300 is electrically insulating and inherently flame retardant, meeting UL94 V‑0 and 5VA requirements.
