VESPEL® SP-22
Vespel® SP-22 is a polyimide grade offering exceptional thermal and chemical resistance. This material is ideal for applications requiring resistance to aggressive chemicals and long-term thermal stability. Same friction properties as SP21, but with a lower coefficient of thermal expansion. Maximum creep resistance. Used in aerospace, automotive, chemical processing and other industries where low thermal expansion is more important than mechanical strength. For example: bushings, thrust washers.
