VESPEL® SP-21
Vespel® SP-21 is a polyimide grade formulated with 15% graphite, offering increased friction and wear resistance and a lower coefficient of friction than Vespel® SP-1. This material combines rolling and wear performance with enhanced structural rigidity and dimensional stability over a wider temperature range. Graphite improves wear resistance with a low coefficient of friction. Increased long-term thermal stability. Lubricated or non-lubricated applications where low friction and low wear are required at high temperatures. For example: bushings, segments, thrust washers, seals.
