TORLON® 4301
TORLON® 4301: the versatile tribological PAI bearing grade
A PAI designed for wear and friction control
TORLON® 4301 is a polyamide‑imide grade formulated with graphite and PTFE to deliver low friction and high wear resistance while maintaining excellent mechanical strength.
Load capacity and thermal stability
The material provides up to 10× better wear resistance than unfilled PAI and maintains dimensional stability from cryogenic temperatures up to approximately 275 °C.
Versatile bearing performance
Its balanced properties make TORLON® 4301 a go‑to bearing and wear grade for high‑temperature, high‑load applications, including dry or marginally lubricated service.
Typical applications
- highly loaded bearings and bushings
- thrust washers and wear pads
- valve seats and mechanical components
