TORLON® 4435
TORLON® 4435: high‑modulus tribological PAI for severe service
A tribological grade optimized for load and speed
TORLON® 4435 is a polyamide‑imide grade engineered with a proprietary blend of graphite, carbon fiber and PTFE. This formulation provides very low friction and wear under high pressure‑velocity (PV) conditions, outperforming standard wear grades at elevated loads and speeds.
Low thermal expansion and dimensional stability
The material features a very low coefficient of thermal expansion, enabling tight tolerances across wide temperature ranges and repeated thermal cycling.
Thermal capability and durability
TORLON® 4435 maintains stiffness, creep resistance and tribological performance from cryogenic temperatures up to approximately 275 °C, supporting long service life in demanding applications.
