TORLON® 5530
Torlon® 5530 is a 30% glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide-imide (PAI) polymer, well suited to highly loaded structural parts as well as electrical and thermal insulators operating at temperatures above 300°F. It offers a coefficient of linear thermal expansion (CLTE) 50% lower than that of unreinforced Torlon 4203, without the conductivity of carbon fibers. Its strength and creep resistance are unsurpassed among polymers at high temperatures above 300°F.
