TORLON® 5030
TORLON® 5030: glass‑fiber‑reinforced PAI for insulation and structure
TORLON® 5030 is a polyamide‑imide grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber, delivering high stiffness and strength for structural components exposed to heavy loads and high temperatures.
Dimensional stability and low thermal expansion
The material offers a coefficient of linear thermal expansion about 50% lower than unfilled PAI, enabling tight tolerances through severe thermal cycling. Its CLTE is close to aluminum, supporting metal replacement strategies.
Electrical and thermal insulation
TORLON® 5030 remains electrically insulating, making it ideal for high‑temperature electrical and thermal insulation applications where mechanical strength is also required.
